OS:
Issue When inserting an open (not finalized) Drag-to-Disc disc, the follow error appears:

Windows cannot read from the disc. The disc might be corrupted, or it could be using a format that is not compatible with windows.
Resolution In order to read the information on the disc, you will need to close the disc:

  1. From the Drag-to-Disc menu, choose Options. The Options dialog box appears.
  2. Click the Eject Settings option marked Close the disc.
  3. Click Advanced.
  4. The Advanced Eject Options dialog box opens.

For each type of nonrewritable or rewritable media, select the file system to use when closing the disc:

    • To make discs compatible with any Windows operating system (or with UNIX, Linux, or Macintosh, etc.), select the UDF version 1.02 option. When inserted in some systems, the disc may prompt to download a special UDF file system reader. Ejecting a disc with this option is quicker than if you also select the Add ISO/Joliet support check box.

Note: When using a disc ejected using this option with other computers, make sure you have permission to install a UDF reader (if necessary) on the other computer.

    • To make your DVD media completely compatible with consumer digital video recorders, use the UDF Version 2.0 option.
    • If you want to restore all settings to the recommended settings, click Restore Defaults.

  5. To apply your changes, click OK.
