Issue

When burning a TV show, PrimeTime starts going through its process, then after the Building Menus process the DVD is ejected and then the following message:

Found PG with no video (DVDErr, -1)

Resolution

This is a source file error caused by a corrupted encode. It can be fixed by reinstalling the video card drivers. Here's how:

  1. Go into the Device Manager (right click on "My Computer" > click on the "Hardware" tab > click on the "Device Manager" button.
  2. Open "Sound, video and game controllers" and remove the 5 Avermedia "cards" (or the brand installed on your machine)
  3. Reboot the computer and let Windows find the new drivers for the "New" hardware.
  4. Record a new show and burn.

NOTE: Previously captured files which give you a "DVDErr-1" or "PG no video" error are corrupt and can't be used.
