DVD playback is choppy in Cineplayer

Issue

When playing back DVDs in Cineplayer, the video has a jerky, or choppy quality.


Resolution

The minimum tested CPU speed is 466 Mhz. To get maximum CPU performance keep other applications closed when viewing a DVD.

  1. Make sure you have Direct X 9 installed, and are running the latest Windows Media Player.
  2. Download the latest certified video card drivers from your video card manufacturer's website.


    • Go to My Computer and right click
    • Choose Properties
    • Click on the Hardware tab
    • Select Device Manager
    • Double-click Display Adapters.
    • You're video card make and model is displayed.
    • To find out the driver details (such as version), right click on the make and model under Dispaly adpapter, and select Properties.


  3. Set your screen resolution to 1024x768, 16 color bit, and a 75 Hz refresh rate.
