DVD playback is choppy in Cineplayer

Print this Article Issue When playing back DVDs in Cineplayer, the video has a jerky, or choppy quality.
Resolution The minimum tested CPU speed is 466 Mhz. To get maximum CPU performance keep other applications closed when viewing a DVD.
- Make sure you have Direct X 9 installed, and are running the latest Windows Media Player.
- Download the latest certified video card drivers from your video card manufacturer's website.
- Go to My Computer and right click
- Choose Properties
- Click on the Hardware tab
- Select Device Manager
- Double-click Display Adapters.
- You're video card make and model is displayed.
- To find out the driver details (such as version), right click on the make and model under Dispaly adpapter, and select Properties.
- Set your screen resolution to 1024x768, 16 color bit, and a 75 Hz refresh rate.
