Installation of Creator 2009 is interrupted and can't be completed

Print this Article Issue During the installation Creator 2009 or Easy VHS to DVD, the installation halts, rolls back, then gives an error that the install has been interrupted and cannot be completed.
Resolution
- Go to your computer's Start menu > Control Panel.
- Windows XP: Select Add or Remove Programs.
Windows Vista: Under Programs, click Uninstall a program.
- Uninstall "Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1".
- Once this process is complete, reinstall Creator 2009.
If the steps above do not resolve the issue, you may try the following steps.
- Open My Computer (or Computer for Vista users) from your Start menu.
- Go to C: drive -> Windows folder -> System32 folder.
- Look for a file called dsetup.dll in the System32 folder.
- Rename the file to "dsetupOLD.dll" or delete the file.
- Reinstall Creator 2009 and follow the on-screen instructions.
