TiVo-To-Go Plug-in does not recognize TiVo PVR

Issue

Sonic TiVo-to-Go Plug-in does not recognize your TiVo PVR, although your TiVo Desktop software does.


Resolution

Restart the DVR

  1. Press the TiVo button on the remote to go to TiVo Central.
  2. Select Messages & Setup --> Restart or Reset System --> Restart the DVR.
  3. Press THUMBS DOWN three times and press ENTER.
  4. Powercycle network devices.


If you have a router or wireless access point, unplug it, wait a moment, and then plug it back in.
